Course prerequisite: 16 years old and up, and ability to pass a swimming pre-test If you have already taken the Fundamentals of Instructor training course, let the instructor know before the 1st class . Attendance is required at all 6 classes.
Schedule
Occurs every week on Sunday, Friday, and Saturday effective 11/27/09 until 12/6/09 from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Additional Information
Upon successful completion of this program, participants will receive a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certificate. This certification is recognized throughout the aquatics industry as a quality certification for those interested in teaching swim lessons. The class consists of both classroom training and in water participation. All participants will walk away with their own training manuals, new teaching techniques, and a pool of knowledge to take with you through your teaching career. The class is taught by a certified Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Trainer
